An Inconvenient Truth..!!!!

Yes the most horrifying factor today that surrounds us is

" GLOBAL WARMING "

What is global warming all about..??? any idea..???
if yes.. do you believe in it..? or are you like our friend
who still does not believe in this Fact.....
Well then if you are...then better watch out...
coz u myt be in trouble soon enough...!!!

Global warming was initially a topic rarely taken up for discussion but recently its become a huge topic of debates and discussion coz of the alarming situation we are heading to...The deterioration rate has almost quadrapled in recent years...( thanx to our individual contributions towards it )...with the pace of it increasing it is surely a matter of concern to all....

The most predominant and adverse of this has been the rise in temperatures...in India itself only a few years back things were much better....no one had thought of temperatures touchin 50 deg Celsius....even 40's used to be way too much n now its common....amount of annual rainfall has gone down...so many places are heading towards desertification... Glaciers are melting...sea levels are rising alarmingly...unexpected flooding is happening, tsunami a term most people in India unaware of are now well versed to it....hurricanes hitting around here and there...a total mess...!!! that's how i would describe this...but that's nature ...Wat's the human reaction to it...अभी तो काफी time है ॥ wen it comes our way we''l manage...we won't even be alive so how does it really bother us..!!! but are you sure this is what you want to leave behind for your generations to come and all that you would get in return would be curses for destroying mother Earth...!!!

All recent findings and of course those done in the past to should be a siren, a wake up call to ever living human....the situation is tense and is surely going to scrapes...n all this is credited to the human activities such as fossil fuel burning and deforestation...these are the main reasons of rise of global temperature and the amount of green house gases in air today....if we don't react to its call now then we won't even be alive to repent upon it later....

Now the question that obviously pops up....wat can we do..?? well a remarkable change...a simple answer to a not so simple question...A little contribution from all can be of gud help as a beginning..Adopting ways that are simple and close to nature can solve a lot of purposes...like recycling...Recycling is an immensely useful tool...especially of plastic that are a big threat to the environment....recycle and reuse of waste water, garbage and even sewage waste is feasible and helpful...collection of rain water and its proper harvesting can solve many purposes....
Each one planting atleast a few trees...even one each would make a big difference....avoiding use of CF C's by adopting CFC free appliances....getting pollution check of vehicles done on a timely basis....preferring to public transports over private or even switchin over to healthier ways like cycling and walking if possible...would be good for health as well as the environment....

Another way could be using Eco- friendly products...like solar cookers, heaters etc...saves loads of energy...this could be a Little time consuming but we need to take a little pain and have a sense of the pain that we are striking at the environment....Solar products don't have a high maintenance cost its just the initial cost but then a huge saving in return is a guarantee....

Adoption of CNG in vehicles has also been taken as an improvement measure....Biogass is being adopted for domestic purposes... This has been done to control global emission rates...this has been a strong step been taken by IPCC's Working Group..

Another thing that has come up in the past is a term Geoengineering....reversing global warming...It is the deliberate modification of the earth's natural environment on a large scale to suit human needs...An example is greenhouse gas redemption which removes green house gases from the atmosphere usually through carbon sequestration techniques, such as carbon di oxide air capture...But no large scale measures have been taken in this...its yet on its path of being developed.... [ information source is wikipedia ]

" AN Inconvenient Truth" was a book and a documentary by Al Gore...It highlights all that is changing in the world...it is an excellent eye-opener and inspiration....even to the one who denies the fact....I was deeply influenced and shocked to see that the condition has gone so bad....I would request everyone to atleast give it a glace...even a look into the condition would be enough....

Ultimately these are just few techniques that must be adopted to secure our own future...we all need to join hands and stand to protect it n sail out safely across the storm..!! The planet needs you lend it a helping hand and not the one that destroyes it...!! help earth...help urself...!!!

My Vision: INDIA 2020

India a country of extremes...where on one side resides its riches the other side poverty stricken... But its al a part of a single large unit called..."INDIA"...n i a proud citizen of....

Every system has its own short comings.... India too has many...all it needs is devotion to the cause by its youthful souls...Every citizen contributing a Little helps alot...after all " बूँद बूँद से ही तो सागर बनता है " ॥

Well according to me a vision 2020 is not an impossible task...11 years is a big tym...reforms done within this period in a growing country like our will be immediately evident...

How to begin is the issue.....we need to explore n not exploit our resources...the two are not very different in meaning from each other but consequences vary a lot....using resources in limitation and economically holds high importance....we waste a lot of water each day... saving a Little can help out so much especially in cities where der is a water shortage...Taking the example of our economic capital... i.e. Mumbai...name a thing that city does not have...!! nothing possibly .. yet none survive wen nature strikes...we all remember the mumbai flooding...loads of houses under water...forests lost...business loses n wat not....but now wat all a thing of past ryt..!!! Are we prepared for sch a strike again...drains still not operational...all chocked...monsoon drain construction yet not over...wats the municipality up to...waiting for floods..!!! that was the story of its monsoons what about when its dry n hot....water shortage...if only the monsoon water was collected and treated such a problem would be far seen...such is the case with most of our northern states...the rain water is jus njoyed n allowed to run down the drain....storing this would help each n everyone...for this municipality does not have to do anything....individually if everyone has an overhead or underground tank the problem would be solved....same with food... "Storage" is the keyword out here...

This was a very basic problem we need to deal with....the next one a bigger one and the following even bigger....

Health is another issue....nowadays health is deteriorating at an alarming rate...people get heart attacks at the age of 30..!!! gosh...!!! people at 28 are diabetic...i mean what the hell is happening...human in the struggle for money has neglected his health...left all natural ways and drifted towards the unwanted...every year so much money goes out of the country just coz of medical requirements...in the year 2008-09 government had to set aside a sum of 3.86 billion just for the health department.....if this money is utilized in the country...there wud b loads of progress our way...

The next would be promoting tourism...already a flourishing sector of the economy all we need is more security... recently there have been many incidents of abuse to tourists which is quiet shameful...overcoming this by regulating the laws and enforcing them is essential for an overall development....punishments should be so severe that one would not dare to do any such act....security n integrity of every individual is essential whether that be an Indian or a visitor....Tourism could be one of our most earning sector...places to visit are not at all a problem an this wonderful piece of land all we need to do is get a Little organised.....

Laws can be made made stronger...people can be punished but self realisation stands above them all n this would be possible only through education for all.... i dream of an India wer none are uneducated mind u i don't mean illiterate...i mean uneducated...coz only education can teach the power of discretion....Primary education should be made free and compulsory in all rural ares...the urban poor should also have an equal opportunity...providing reservations at undergraduate or post graduate levels solves no purpose instead instills hatred among the youth and a major split...assistance should be given on a financial basis to those who actually need and deserve it....basic education holds with it a big revolution.....

Next issue would be "corruption" of course that is eating away our wealth initially it was a slow process but not its gulping all in...!!! This is the most disturbing thing happening around...is money really everything....doesn't conscious come first....self-respect, self-esteem are just words we use...and feelings of the weak..!!! a sad sad situation at this....eliminating its followers is a small way to go about this uprooting the very root of this issue would have some impact...if ur conscious is strong no one can bribe come wat may.....I'm sure not even one of us would be away from this its spread all around like an epidemic ( greater than the H1N1 2...i suppose )...atleast not taken bribe but offered it to get a job done...unavoidable is it..??? U go into complain about a person asking bribe and u actually end up paying bribe to the police....you feel rather helpless....
The solution i feel is media...it carries power ..a power that can hold and mobilize Masses...n we all saw that wen reservation in medical and engineering colleges wer being introduced....Its a huge benefit as far as this is concerned...we have seen so many sting operations being carried out reveling such shocking cases....for example a case in Punjab where fake passports wer being made in a day or two in some 10 thousand rupees..y would someone go in for such risk...??? a fellow "educated" was there just coz he dint hav the patience to run around for the passport...wud hav paid almost the same amount officially though bribing the employees at the office...!!! all I'm trying to reflect here is a person gets entangled in thins web so much that he really finds no way out....people need to buckle up...be firm...punishments need to be made severe....realisation from within needs to come...we the young are going to be at these position very soon....we must make sure we have a different and a better path to follow...........!!!!

There are plenty of issues worth a mention but i have reflected over the few main issues which i feel would bring about a big big change...the last in my list being population..!!!

I don't see it as a problem at all...more human resource more man power more input hence a greater output...that's how i see it...but exploiting this resource is essential...we get educated and many sharp brains among us travel abroad....earning our living yes but collecting revenue for another country when your own needs it more....the country desperately needs its youth...today the maximum population India hols is of the youth...if all hands join a big difference is sure to come our way...and it calls for making people not work for MN C's in India but encouraging entrepreneurship....Its an Excellent tool for budding youth...it helps to develop the country as well as individuals to the maximum...it helps generate new ideas and an income for self and for the country too.....we all need to realise this fact....

All I ask the youth through this is give ur cent percent to your motherland...it really really needs you...rise to a mothers call...!!!

!!!.. जय हिंद ...... जय भारत ..!!!

Kiran Bedi...a visionary

Dr. Kiran Bedi has been voted as India's most admired women and fifth amongst all Indian's...

....well no doubts on that for sure...'a women
of high spirits and loads of guts' wel these are just too few a words to describe this remarkable lady in khaki...though retired now...she still stands at the top of it all.....

She started her service (IPS) in 1972...n after
35 years of back breaking service she has loads of stories to tell....She has worked with the United Nations as the Police Advisor to the Secretary General, in the dept of Peace Keeping Operations, one of the toughest jobs. She's a proud recipient of the Asian Noble prize n many other prizes too...n the list is rather too long...

It all seems so gud 4 her now...but her road has been full of thorns ever since she has stepped in...one big reason being our male dominant society....nonacceptance of a female in a male dominant role was wat she struggled the most wid...n her fight against this is wat inspires me the most...recognising herself in the male world...

Her book Kiran Bedi.."i Dare"...was a huge success personally its one of the best books i've com across...the book is her biography...it deals wid the tuf currents that she had to swim thru, it has a few things to tell about her personal life too ( her marriage, daughter, etc..) .
The book describes the strike by lawyers against her n about her firmness...it also reflects how the system treats someone who stands against corruption. The book also has the work that she had done for prisoners at the tihar jail...The Tihar jail is described as her 'Karmabhoomi'. Al in al the book is an inspiration to everyone who dares and who believes in himself/herself......................

The award winning documentary ( actually sweeping ) made by the Australian director 'Megan Doneman' title..." yes madam, sir " is about Dr Bedi's entire life in d male society...it has a lovely motto along with it wch says.....' One journey can change a life. One life can change the world '.....

Apart from all this she is the founder of two NGO's ...Navjyoti and India Vision Foundation.. wch deal with drug abuse, education for children of prisoners, in addition to education, training, counselling, and health care to rural and urban poor...

A leader by birth an inspiration for all...a tree n d storm...all fall short of this mighty leader...........A lady with high spirits and a grt mission of a SAFER INDIA in mind....cheers to her and all that she has done....all salutes to this great soul....The country n its citizens owe a lot to u ma'am.....

Wat a Tru INDIAN actually means..!!!

Speakin of "India" al praises fall short ....
There cud b nothing a child can achieve by birth but the luck of being born n this god's paradise...
My heart fills with immense joy wen i hav to xpress wat i feel for my motherland, i feel closer each tym i think about it...
I having been brought up in a defense background have been more closer to wat my country holds for me... I hav closely seen the " Tru Indian " spirit in every soldier of the land.. Each of them sitting away from hom n family is ready for a full sacrifice jus waiting for a call...
I jus remembered a tym...a bad xperience though...but my dad has nothing to regret...it was back in 2000 or 01...my dad was posted in Goa....we had gone 4 hols to my native place...i think it was the day after we reached...my dad received a telegram...a recall letter...wel a recall letter is sent wen there is a condition of war or any such tense situation...it meant that dad had to go bak...it was a row over some comment that almost waged a war between India n Neighbours...not mentioning...
Dad decided that he wud go alone...but the situation was quiet tense n almost war like so mom decided to go along n so me n my sis 2. All this was fine...no regrets of going bak but the means 2 return..??? nothing...the government xpects n immediate return n a country wer rail reservations are done 3 month in advance...we boarded d train without a reservation...had to sit in an unreserved initially that to in the scorching heat...dad was managing a place meanwhile..
the train in-charge n staff did not bother...they wer least bothered of wat was being told to them... accidentally my mom happened 2 meet this gentleman who was at a relevant position in the railways...he screwed all those ppl n made sure we got atleast one seat...he was totally stressed out on realising the state of our country..if the country dosen't care for the soldiers wat do they expect in return...despite all dad doesn't see it that way n rather regards it as a job of pride...

Well i mentioned this incident not to prove anything right or wrong but to reflect the kind of reforms our country needs...working for votes s not wat we xpect out of the leaders but a decent amount of respect of individuality..
Depending on someone does not solve any purpose...we hav a huge population...n out of that a large number of educated youth..it is our duty to understand responsibilities n live for the country....it easy to find fault in a system any tom dick n harry cud do that...bringing in changes is wat counts...If every citizen becomes socially n politically aware a large number of problems cud be sorted out....
So step forward...be firm and See The Change U Want To See By Being The Change You Want TO See..... coz ULTIMATELY it all begins at home...
!!! जय हिंद .......... जय भारत !!!

i, inspired: Thinkin Beyond what v Seee...

Inspiration truly has no source...nor does true talent...
Inspiration can be dervied from the tinyest and the most unexpected of sources too. Mine would be the rat 'ramy' from the movie "Ratatouille". The cook who astonishes the critic too - to the core. He regards it as the most humble source.

Its rightly said that not everyone can be an artist but a great artist can come from anyone.
The rat just a creature makes a mark; it inspires you to believe that nothing is impossible. Though just a movie but an unlimited source of inspiration for a young viewer as well as an elder one.

I strongly believe that you yourself are an inspiration for many. A truthful soul can be an inspiration for a plenty. I personally don't often get inspired by people. Its there actions, deeds and their indivisuality that inspires me. We all speak of God and heaven and being inspired by them all.... But is ' being inspired just a mere tag line'. It means much more than just a few words put together. It is what you gather and adapt in your life. Being inspired by a person is living that soul within you as a part of YOURSELF.....
